Phew, what a weekend!
Lismore, my rugby club, is the first of the 2001/02 season to get promotion - winning the cahmpionship - and maintaining our 100% league season. Sat a refereeing exam on Sunday (pretty much the worst for wear). got to get calling some of the rugby mags to see if they can feature us.
Saw more on this Segway motorised scooter affair - looks pretty odd, and I wouldn't get one myself - but a lot of folks reckon it is going to revolutionise city travel.

So Scotland (er, Britain) win a gold medal in the Winter Olympics - woo-hoo. Even the BBC is joining in the Curling fever.

Haven't been on for a while - very busy. Looking forward to going to Rome with young Jamie on Thursday. Cheering on Scotland against Italy.
Let's hope it's a better result than 2 years (or weeks) ago.

The funniest thing on TV, ironically, is an advert for a TV service.
Monkey has got to be the most entertaining character on the box. All of the adverts are on the ITV Digital website.
This one's for Jamie - get your monkey cheque book!

Sarah in my company's Dutch office sent me this link of a picture taken from the Boeing-built space station as it orbitted the Earth. You can pick out all of the most populated areas of the world, and easy to see which countries are the most developed and have densest lighting. Even comparing Israel to the rest of the Middle East shows the lack of investment/wealth there.

Going home now - far too late in the evening, and I haven't seen my family all day. I hope that Anna has been good (that reminds me, I must put the pics of her up on the website). They will be available from the gallery soon.

Problems with Blogger, throwing up problems in code which is a foreign language to me. So much for taking 2 minutes to set up! Never mind, I will persist.
