Back from our holiday in Norway, and it was fantastic. Only down side was Anna got chickenpox 2 days before we were due to fly out. Thanks to Nicola's mum fir coming up to look after her so we could get away. Sorry that Anna couldn't come though - she would have loved sledging and skiing.
"What was Hemsedal like?" I hear you cry. Well, in short it was everything that I hoped a ski holiday would be. Weather was excellent (Mon-Thu), with 4-6 inches of fresh snow falling on friday and Saturday. You can see what it is like on the Gallery.
OK, I fell over on the first day on a green (v easy) run and twisted my knee. Even though I was having trouble walking, it didn't impair my schussing!
Met some very nice people, most of whom were returning for their umteenth time there. One family have been visiting Hemsedal for the last 13 years.
Thanks to Dave, Sandra and Julia for keeping Jamie amused during the boring bits with The Sims. Jamie has persuaded me to buy a version for the Mac, so it is being delivered this week by Amazon.co.uk - what did I do before online shops?

Looking forward to going to Norway later on this week. Off to Hemsedal skiing with the family. Anna (15 months old) and I don't ski (yet), but Anna is a mean sledger and general psycho so we fully expect to take to it like a cold duck to frozen water!
With over a metre of snow - I'm looking forward to breaking a bone overseas.

Speaking of games, a Romanian boy spent 9 straight days playing Counter Strike in an Internet Cafe. No-one bothered to come and get him, or ask him whether or not he should go home. The boy reportedly lost 18lbs in weight during the marathon killathon. Bizarre!
