3 posts in 1 day - I can't be very busy!
The National Library of Scotland (NLS) have put a number of maps on the web, many going back to the 1700s and beyond. Theses cover town maps, military maps, marine maps and loads of other stuff.

I like maps!

OK, bought new golf clubs on ebay the other week - Wilson Hybrid Fatshaft irons. Been tracking them on their way from Florida!
Left Pensacola, Fl on 29/10 bound for Montgomery, AL. Fom there, they moved to Louisville, KY where they spent the night. Now in Phillidelphia, PA. Already these clubs are better travelled than me...

I've got to speak to Tug and get out for a game as soon as these puppies arrive :-))

My colleague sent me a link to a game today - very adictive. High score of 22 in unimpressive compared to a global high score of 183 !!

Another 4-years, another World Cup - Rugby that is!
Scotland got off to a slow start faced with the might of Japan. Scotland eventually winning out in the end by 32-11.
Needless to say, the English PR machine rolls on, playing down their chances against South Africa ahead of what must be England's best (and most realistic) chance to win a World Cup yet.

Another thing, what ever happened to Rugby Shirts? Why are players dressed like cyclists? What is all that about?
Only a couple of years you would have been chastised as a big girl if you trotted out to play in a skin-tight, teflon-coated lycra one-piece (unless you were actually a big girl, in which case you would get the clap you deserved:-) ). Now it seems acceptable to don stretchy fabrics, pads, mits and a helmet!!!
I've got an idea... why don't we start throwing the ball forward to our team mates and yell "Touch Down" when we score.
Bloody Hell - I think I've been playing rugby for too long.
