It's official rhcp "rock" in soooooo many senses of the word!
Fantastic show at Murrayfield stadium yesterday - more energy and feeling in it than you could shake a stick at. (Can you shake a stick at energy? I guess so!)
All the tracks you would expect from the Chilis plus a few old ones, which was good to hear (ever heard rhcp singing Donna Summers "I Feel Love"? I have)- difficult to believe that it's been over 13 years since I bought my first tape :-)) of theirs. That's older than my son :-))
Speaking of whom, Jamie enjoyed it too. In fact the whole family went (except Anna) and we took Jon and Graeme (2 of my sister's kids). All got in a bit late - especially on a school night - bit was it worth it! (rhetorical)
Forgot to pick up the camera on the way out :-(, but go some shots using the mobile :-) Bit too far away for them to be very clear, but Jamie in his new t-shirt looked pleased.
Another revelation was N*E*R*D who were on before the Chilis. Very entertaining band, interesting r&b/rap/rock fusion. Will definitely be picking up some of their stuff now I've heard a full set. Didn't know much about them before this, but going to find out more.
