Ooh! Blogger is very slow today, or is it me?
Woke up this morning feeling hungover - head a little fluffy. Strange as I wasn't drinking last night.

Taking it easy today, sorted out the holiday photos from Mallorca and put them on the website. So have a look and enjoy us enjoying ourselves :-D

My! The boys and girls at Apple have been busy!
New limited edition iPod (U2) and the iPod Photo with its colour screen look like great new products - if you are a U2 fan or need to transport your pics around.
Is an extra £100 worth it for having a clour screen - or is it only another step closer to the 20GB iPhone? That would be cool B-)
New iPod U2 ad is very good though - 2 mins of "Vertigo" in an iPod ad stylee. And the Steriogram ad is one of the best in the range.

Wish the developers at Cupertino were as progressive with their desktop and laptops just now though. After the launch of the new G5 iMac, it's all gone a little quiet ahead of the Christmas period. A flat G5 iMac would seem to indicate that the heat dispersal issues of the G5 chip have been overcome, but why no G5 iBooks or Powerbooks?

On the UK side, the London Apple Store in Regent Street is to open on 20 November. Wonder if they intend to venture further North? No, above Yorkshire!

Time to get back on the blog-horse so to speak.
Ironically since I was made redundant from Franklin Templeton Investments, I seem to have less time on my hands for things such as this. However, I guess it has been 'eventful'.
Still looking for work - so please feel free to make outrageous offers of employment in the Marketing field :-)
Also had my little car written off by a women who drove into the side of it (in another Clio) when she came out from a side street. Farewell little car - you were a good pal, well worth the money paid at auction some 7 years ago!
My new one (Fiat Stilo 1.6 Active) is basic and second hand - don't think that I would buy a new Fiat, they seem to plummet in value after they are bought. This one (just under £6k) is a year old with 9k miles on the clock. Bought from Motorpoint, the "UK's biggest car supermarket". The sales guy was great and their vehicles can be bought pretty cheap - far better deal than that offered to me by the local dealership. In fact, the guy at Arnold Clark never even phoned back after we agreed a car to source from their network!! I'll never go to Arnold again - he's rubbish.
Ok, ramblings have set in so it's time to stop. Will save some for later.
