After the relative success of the Scottish Rugby Team last Saturday - losing out to a last-minute try, after having a score of thier own disallowed - everything else seems to be peaking too.
Preparations being made for Tug's Stag Weekend in Amsterdam. We have a man on the ground in Holland - Hello Taff! - who will be organising the accommodation somewhere in the Vondelpark area of town. having stayed in the hostel at Vondelpark a couple of years ago, I can confirm that it is full of good boozers and restaraunts (Argentinian Rib-o-rama, all-you-can-eat-ribs for € 12) :-D
Work on the new showerroom is powering on and should be complete tomorrow - thanks to Davie and Norrie. Hurry up, I am beginning to smell.
Big cheer for the boys ahead of the next Scotland game of course, against Ireland, (the 6 nations favourites) at Murrayfield. I will be watching it from the relative comfort of the mighty Lismore RFC Clubhouse, watching out in the crowd for Jamie who said he would wave!!
Oh, another thing from last week. This is taking it too far and only adds to the myth that rugby players are all bonkers.

Just putting together a site for my friend's stag do www.tugsstagweekend.com in Amsterdam.
A hand-picked selection of the finest tourers are to be invited to the event. Unfortunately "What goes on tour, stays on tour" and any after-event pics and information will be locked away from prying eyes.
That should give me a chance to bone up on PHP before June. Now where is that manual...?

Now, I wouldn't exactly call myself a suppoter of the actions in Iraq, nor do I take lightly the situation there for either the Iraqi citizens or the occupying forces.
However, when a story like this pops up, it does make one laugh.
It would appear that the Mujahedeen have abducted GI Joe...
